BUSINESS BASICS

Start with your strengths

You do not need every answer to begin. Start by understanding one person and one problem you can help solve.

FREE · 20 minutes
Open your lesson

1. Find your starting point

List three things people already ask you to help with. Choose one you enjoy and can deliver consistently.

2. Listen before you spend

Describe who you hope to serve. Ask three people what they find difficult, what they use now, and what a useful solution would look like. Record their answers before deciding what to offer.

3. Try a small offer

Write: I help [person] with [problem] by offering [service or product]. Define what is included, the time required, and the direct costs. Test one small version before making a large commitment.

4. Choose one next step

Write down one action you can take this week, when you will do it, and who can encourage you. Check local registration and licensing requirements before accepting customers.

FINANCIAL LITERACY

Know your money picture

Clear information helps you ask better questions. This lesson starts with a simple picture of money coming in and bills going out.

FREE · 20 minutes
Open your lesson

1. Gather the facts

List income amounts and the dates you expect them. List bills, amounts, and due dates. Keep essential needs visible and separate reliable income from uncertain income.

2. Track a normal week

Record your spending without judging yourself. Group it into categories that make sense to you. Notice regular expenses and costs that arrive only sometimes.

3. Look at timing

Put income dates and bill dates on the same calendar. A monthly total may hide a week when cash is short. Identify gaps before choosing a plan and contact providers early to ask about available options.

4. Pick a manageable goal

Choose one goal and a realistic next action based on your situation. Revisit the plan when income or expenses change. Do not assume that a worksheet alone shows whether you can afford a purchase.

CONFIDENCE & DIRECTION

Your next chapter starts here

You bring experience, ideas, and value. Give yourself room to name them and take a small next step.

FREE · 15 minutes
Open your lesson

1. Recognize your strengths

Write three moments when you helped, solved a problem, learned something difficult, or kept going. What strengths did each moment reveal?

2. Name what matters

Choose one priority for this season. Describe what progress would look like in your everyday life, rather than comparing your timeline with someone else’s.

3. Map your support

List people, community spaces, and practical resources you could turn to. Write one specific request for encouragement or help. Support is something you can build step by step.

4. Make a gentle plan

Choose a small action for each of the next three weeks. Leave room to adjust. At the end of each week, note what you learned and what you want to try next.
